Manama, September 3 (BNA): The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) today announced the introduction of a multi-entry electronic visa for training purposes, valid for six months. The holder is allowed to stay in the Kingdom for the same period.

The visa is part of 24 initiatives to enhance NPRA services and an economic recovery plan launched by the Council of Ministers, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

It is also in line with the directives of the Minister of Interior, Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to provide high quality services.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for the National Agency for Refugees, Sheikh Hisham bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa, confirmed that the visa can be extended for six months. He indicated that those interested can apply through www.evisa.gov.bh for a fee of 60 Bahraini dinars.

He said that the visa is issued to a trainer or a trainee in the government and private sectors. The applicant must attach a letter from the concerned authority to show the type of training and its details, a copy of the passport valid for more than six months, and fill in the required data on the website.
