Manama, Dec. 27 (BNA): The Deputy Chief of Public Security, Major General Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, inaugurated the joint naval exercise (Vigilance Guard 11), with the participation of the directorates of the Ministry of Interior.
He praised the readiness and scenarios of the exercise and the efficiency of the Coast Guard and other participating forces. Stressing the implementation of the directives of the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to benefit from the trainings to achieve the goals.
He highlighted the instructions of the Chief of Public Security to continue training to review joint field operations.
The vice president was briefed on the objectives of the exercise, the stages of capacity building and the enhancement of training competencies.
The exercise aims to enhance readiness to protect installations, maritime security and safety.
