Manama, Dec. 27 (BNA): Minister of Industry and Trade, Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, met with Khalid Al-Amin, Chairman of the Food Wealth Committee at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The minister affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s support for all economic sectors, and its keenness to provide all facilities that would develop services for citizens and residents in various fields.
He referred to the role of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its committees in serving the country’s economic development.
Minister Fakhro pointed to the importance of strengthening partnership between the public and private sectors, in addition to joint work on developing strategies and programs to support investment in the food sector.
He praised the efforts made by the Food Wealth Committee, merchants and suppliers of food commodities in the Kingdom, and the work in coordination with the government to ensure the sustainability of this sector and the smooth flow of food commodities in all circumstances and times.
Al-Amin praised the Kingdom of Bahrain’s support for food companies and projects, which reflects its keenness to serve the private sector to develop the national economy.
He stressed the keenness of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry to continue cooperation with the ministry and work to develop the private sector.
