HH Deputy Prime Minister issues edict

Manama, September 19 (BNA) Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa issued Resolution No. 48 of 2021 re-forming the Advisory Committee in the National Qualifications Framework at the Higher Education Quality Authority.

Headed by the CEO of the Education and Training Quality Authority, the committee includes the following members:

1- Director General of Functional Organization and Budget – Civil Service Bureau.

2- Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Baqer – Public Universities.

3. Director General of the Bahrain Training Institute – Ministry of Education.

4. Scientific Research Director – Higher Education Council.

5. Nawaf Muhammad Al-Jishi – private institutes.

6- Director of Vocational Institutes Affairs – Ministry of Labor and Social Development.

7- Dr. Samir Abdel Karim Al-Atoum – Private Universities.

8- Yasser Abdel Rahim Al Abbasi – Private Sector.

Under the decree, the first five members will serve for four years while the terms of the other members will remain for three years.

The Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs, Chairman of the Higher Education Quality Authority, shall implement this decision, and it shall be effective immediately upon its issuance in the Official Gazette.
