Turin, Feb. 21 (BNA): Cremonese came close to ending a season-long winning streak in Serie A, but it was held in Turin with a score of 2-2.
The Associated Press reports that no team has ever finished a season in Serie A without at least one win.
Antonio Sanabria gave Torino the lead from the penalty spot at the end of the first half.
But Franck Tsagot equalized nine minutes after half-time and Emmanuel Valeri looked to have completely turned the game around 15 minutes from time.
However, Wilfried Sengo equalized four minutes later to deny Cremonese a record first win in Serie A.
Last-placed Cremonese was 10 points away from the safety zone, while Torino reached one point from the final qualifying position for European competition.
