Commander-in-Chief receives local editors-in-chief

Manama, Feb. 1 (BNA): The Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received the local editors-in-chief.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Defense Affairs, Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, and the Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi.


The Commander-in-Chief praised the developments of the Bahraini press through the comprehensive reform and development project led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.

Sheikh Khalifa noted the important role of the media, which reflects the achievements of the reform project, and highlights the Kingdom’s global position in the field of media development.


The Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force highlighted the role of the local press during the reign of His Majesty King Hamad by promoting community awareness and highlighting national achievements.

He appreciated the efforts of all journalists and those in charge of the field to develop media and journalism in Bahrain.
