1st Annual Medical Dermatology Symposium in Bahrain witnesses 70 professional dermatologist participants

Manama, July 26 (BNA) The Bahrain Medical Training Center organized its first annual medical symposium for dermatology, the Bahrain Risk Meeting.



The event hosted around 70 consultants and dermatologists from Salmaniya Medical Complex, in addition to health workers, laboratories and technicians.



The meeting was organized by BDA in collaboration with Global Dermatology and sponsored by NOVARTIS.



The symposium discussed the latest developments related to skin diseases such as Vitiligo, Eczema, Psoriasis, Dermatitis and Allergic Dermatitis, bacteria and scalp fungi, as well as new treatments that have been proposed for complex skin diseases.



A scientific research competition was organized with the participation of dermatologists residing in many government and private hospitals.



This event is accredited by the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), with six hours within the Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme.



The Chairman of the Scientific Committee, Dr. Amin Al-Awadi, indicated that this medical event is a platform for exchanging opinions and experiences, highlighting the latest developments in the field of dermatology, exchanging experiences and discussing the latest medical developments related to their specialties.



Dr. Al-Awadi explained that the symposium was able to achieve remarkable success in its first edition, as it witnessed a wide turnout from doctors and those interested, followed by important recommendations.



The Chairman of the Scientific Committee revealed that this forum will be held annually and will include participation from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

Dr. Amin stressed that the successful continuation of this medical event confirms the intention of its organizers to hold it periodically with the aim of continuing the advancement of dermatology in Bahrain, pointing to the good reputation of Bahraini doctors in this field, and the advanced infrastructure. for the Bahraini health sector.
