Manama, June 6 (BNA): The Central Bank of Bahrain announced that the monthly issuance of short-term Islamic leasing bonds, sukuk al-Ijarah, was oversubscribed by 338%.
Subscriptions of BD 87.825 million were received for the BD 26 million issue which has a maturity of 182 days.
The expected yield on the issue, which commences on June 8th and matures on December 7th, is 6.05%, equivalent to the previous issue on May 4th.
Ijara sukuk are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain on behalf of the Government of Bahrain.
This is Issue No. 214 (BH0001SU8440) of the Short-Term Ijarah Sukuk Series.
