Finance Minister receives Saudi Tourism Minister

Manama, June 6 (BNA): His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, received Ahmed Al-Khatib, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Fund for Development.

The meeting was attended by Fatima bint Jaafar Al-Serafi, Minister of Tourism, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat).

Sheikh Salman indicated Bahrain’s keenness to develop tourism and various promising sectors, and support it towards further development in favor of promoting sustainable economic growth.

Minister Al Khalifa stressed the depth of the historical relations between the two kingdoms and the solid foundations on which they are based for integration and joint work in various fields.

The minister indicated that these relations enjoy the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

He affirmed the keenness of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and his brother, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to strengthen and enhance cooperation. Joint work that achieves prosperity and development for the benefit of the two countries and peoples.
