Manama, May 29 (BNA): The General Directorate of Traffic inaugurated the ninth vehicle technical inspection center nationwide.
Located in Arad district, the center is also the small facilities for light vehicle inspection. It has the capacity to process 150 vehicles per day.
The opening of the “Laser Center” comes in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Interior, Major General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to involve the private sector in line with the economic vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain 2023 and the government’s action plan.
The green light was given to the newly opened facility after meeting the necessary technical conditions, requirements and standards, and qualifying the employees through training courses under the supervision of the General Traffic Department.
