BTEA promotes Bahraini tourism in Global Travel Week Middle East 2022

Muscat, March 29 (BNA) The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, represented by its Deputy CEO, Fatima Al-Serafy, participated in the “World Travel Week Middle East 2022”.


El-Serafy said that the British Travel and Tourism Authority’s participation aims to enhance cooperation opportunities in the travel sector and increase partnerships with potential decision makers in the travel industry.


It also seeks to network with potential tour operators from several sectors in the travel industry to learn more about Bahrain and highlight the destination to its clients.


During her participation, El Serafi presented tourism projects in Bahrain, such as the waterfront of Galali Coast, Bahrain Bay Beach project and the new exhibition center in Sakhir, in addition to the distinguished private tourism sector facilities such as Al Dana Amphitheater, Marassi and others.


She met with attendees from various sectors such as Luxury Travel, MICE, FIT (Independent Independent Travelers), weddings and more. In addition to travel agencies and potential tour operators to start and continue to present Bahrain as a preferred tourist destination.


“Bahrain seeks to enhance its position on the regional and international tourism map, and we are keen that the incoming tourist to the Arabian Gulf region places the Kingdom at the forefront of his visit program. Tourism categories, the authority seeks to attract more prominent tourism agencies and organizations from specialized target markets, as well as event organizers. and international conferences and workshops, Al-Serafi said.


She explained that Bahrain also welcomes more private investments in the tourism sector to explore the potential of this sector, and concluded that participation in global events comes within the objectives of the Bahrain Tourism Authority in Bahrain to achieve the objectives of the Bahrain Tourism Strategy for the years 2022-2026, including highlighting Bahrain’s position as a tourism center global, increasing the number of target countries to attract more tourists, and diversifying tourism offerings.”
