Manama, May 13 (BNA): The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) hosted yesterday the third weekly draw for the Manama Golden Festival.
Receipt holders from among citizens, visitors and residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries participated in the draw, in which 13 valuable prizes were distributed in the Manama market.
As many as 416 gold, jewelry and pearl shops are participating in the second edition of the Manama Gold Festival, which kicked off on April 13 and will run until May 27.
The festival offers weekly promotions for visitors to the Manama market. In addition to this, raffle draws are conducted on a weekly basis to provide unique prizes to the lucky shoppers.
The festival includes distinguished shows by jewelry designers and goldsmiths, a retail market, and various musical and artistic performances, in addition to works of art that reflect the history of goldsmithing and the ancient jewelry industry in the Kingdom.
A series of specialized workshops will also be held on the sidelines of the festival. Participants will focus on presenting types of gold and jewelry and their prices, the art of goldsmithing, the art of designing jewelry and ornaments, the basics of making gold jewelry, and how to convert the design idea into a three-dimensional drawing on paper.
The festival will also host various musical and artistic performances by Hazem Al-Rawas, Silvia Saad, Abdullah Haj, Nour Al-Basri, Basma Othman, and Brother Guitarists.
On this occasion, the CEO of the Authority congratulated the winners of the third weekly draw of the festival, pledging more promotions and valuable prizes to delight citizens, residents and gold lovers in Bahrain among tourists, as well as to promote the tourism sector in the Kingdom. .
He pointed out that the specialized workshops will add more diversity to the festival and attract more shoppers and Bahraini gold lovers.
It is worth noting that 32 gold stores sponsored the festival’s awards this year, including Malabar Gold and Diamonds, Al-Saif Jewelry, Jumbo Gold, City Mashallah Jewelry, Al-Tawhid Jewelry, Al-Jasra Jewelry, Sharhan Pearls, Niaz Pearls and Diamonds, Manama. Pearl Jewellery, Bin Nasser Jewellery, Al Nafisa Jewellery, Bahr Jewellery, Al Hashemi Pearls, and Tababat Bahrain Jewellery.
