Brazilian President visits Economic Development Board

Manama, November 16 (BNA) The President of the Federal Republic of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, today visited the Economic Development Board in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

This came on the sidelines of the Brazilian President’s official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the invitation of His Majesty King Hamad Al Khalifa.

President Bolsonaro was received by Minister of Finance and National Economy Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and other officials.

The Minister of Finance and National Economy welcomed President Bolsonaro’s visit to the headquarters of the Economic Development Board, to learn about the achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty the King, and the strategic and executive plans of the Economic Development Board headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince. The CEO of the Economic Development Board, Khalid Ibrahim Humaidan, highlighted the role of the Economic Development Board in supporting Bahrain’s economic performance and achieving the Kingdom’s 2030 economic vision.

He also highlighted the facilities and services of the Economic Development Board for businessmen, explaining the promising investment opportunities in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The visit discussed prospects for economic, commercial and investment cooperation.
