BRAVE CF Remains As Only Major MMA Promotion To Hold Live Event In Africa

Manama, Sept. 21 (BUS): Since its emergence into the mainstream consciousness of North American audiences in 1993, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) has charted one of the most remarkable growth paths the world has seen in any sport.

Its influence has been very visible in the steadily growing number of fans, prime-time television advertisements, and crowded arenas all over the world.

One organization that has been responsible for elevating MMA into a staple in the family is the Brave Combat Federation, which is the brainchild of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Promotion has made great strides, holding active shows in different parts of the world. So far, she has led 53 live events on five continents and visited 23 different countries, including Russia, Sweden, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Mexico, Belarus, Indonesia and the Philippines.

On the record, the only major MMA band to stage a show in Africa is BRAVE CF having seen demand in the region with the rise of Frances Ngannou, Israel Adesanya and Kamaru Osman, as well as a host of up-and-coming African expats like Abdel Razak El Hassan, Abou Aziter, Delcha Longambula and Don Madge.

Brave CF has conquered the continent three times, hosting Fight Card in Morocco in August 2018 before organizing its first event in South Africa nearly four months later and then returning to the country in December 2019.

There is no mention of whether Brave CF will return to Africa this year as the focus is on expanding its reach across Europe and into several parts of Asia. However, it is still possible.

The Brave CF may have been the first to test the African market, but many believe it is only a matter of time before each offering follows that trend.

The global team will be looking to add the 24th country to their roster as the upcoming BRAVE CF 54 on Saturday, September 25th will see its first-ever flight to Poland.

In the main event, Amin “The Fierce” Ayoub will defend the Brave CF World Lightweight Champion against the Prince of Egypt Ahmed “The Butcher”.
