BQA inducts 32 Quality Ambassadors

Manama. November 22 (BNA): The Education and Training Quality Authority held today an introductory meeting for 32 quality ambassadors representing 30 educational institutions.

The Quality Ambassadors initiative was launched by the Higher Education Quality Authority to establish a link with universities, schools and vocational training institutions, exchange best practices and build capacities in line with the standards of the Higher Education Quality Authority.

The CEO of the Education and Training Quality Authority, Dr. Tariq Muhammad Abdul Rahman Al-Sindi, briefed the quality ambassadors on the details of the initiative, the standards of the Education and Training Quality Authority, and ways to provide technical support to the quality assurance teams in the partner institutions.

Dr. Al-Sindi’s initiative reflects the authority’s belief in the contribution that partner institutions can make to achieving the strategic objectives of the Education and Training Quality Authority represented in improving performance levels.

Dana Rabie, Head of the General Education Qualifications Department at the Education and Training Quality Authority, said the introductory meeting was the largest gathering of quality assurance experts and practitioners in the Kingdom.

She explained that the Quality Ambassadors initiative will include training programmes, certificates and periodic meetings.
