BCCI organizes meetings with German delegation

Manama, September 30 (BNA) The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), in cooperation with the German-Saudi Liaison Office for Economic Affairs (GESALO), hosted a German delegation comprising 10 companies in the petrochemical industry.

The organization of the event came in an effort to connect local business owners with their German counterparts, and encourage local businesses to expand their business network and explore opportunities.

Acting CEO of the Bahrain Chamber, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sada, expressed his pride in the existing business between Bahrain and Germany, citing the volume of non-oil trade that exceeded $550 million in 2020 despite the pandemic.

He expressed confidence in the upward trajectory of business between Bahrain and Germany, and encouraged business owners participating in the meeting to explore opportunities for cooperation and partnership.

Al-Sada affirmed the Chamber’s keenness to simplify the expansion efforts of local business owners, and then organize this event, and affirmed the readiness of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry to provide assistance to local and foreign business owners and investors.

For her part, the German Industry and Trade delegate in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Yemen, who also headed the delegation, expressed her pride in the cooperation between the Bahrain Chamber and Gisallo, which serves the common goals of the two sides in strengthening trade relations. and intensifying trade and investment.

She emphasized that there are promising opportunities in the petrochemical industry, especially for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that provide innovative solutions, specialized products and services.
