Bahraini ambassador to UK attends British Labor Party conference

London, September 30 (BNA) The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom Sheikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa attended the British Labor Party Conference 2021 held in Brighton, during which Sir Keir Starmer gave his first major speech as leader of the Labor Party.

On the sidelines of this conference, the Embassy held a series of side meetings with a number of members of the British Labor Party including MP Stephen Thames, Shadow Secretary of State (Europe and the Americas) Catherine West, and Shadow Secretary of Peace and Disarmament. Sheikh Fawaz was also keen to meet with a group of Bahraini students who are currently studying in Brighton and neighboring cities with the start of the academic year for British universities on Wednesday 28 September.
