Information Minister attends Sharjah IGCF award

Sharjah, September 28 (BNA) Minister of Information Affairs Ali bin Muhammad Al-Rumaihi attended the award ceremony of the Sharjah International Forum for Government Communication in its eighth session.

In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council.

The Sharjah Government Communication Forum is the first of its kind in the Arab world. It highlights the achievements of individuals and institutions in the government communication sector, and promotes best professional practices in the government communication sector in the region and the world. It included a group of categories related to government communication, dealing with challenges and media influence.

The Minister praised the distinguished organization of the forum and the award, which reflects the keenness of the Sharjah Media Council headed by His Highness Sheikh Sultan to support the national media work and honor the creative youth energies at the level of the Arab world, praising the efforts made. The award jury in creating new categories that keep pace with the great development witnessed by the media and communication sector at the regional level, and selecting the winners in an organized and professional manner, wishing the forum and the award and its organizers all success. .
