Supreme Council for Women honors contest winners

Manama, September 30 (BNA) The Youth Committee of the Supreme Council for Women announced the names of the nine winners of the “Twenty Years, Twenty Creative Works” competition.

The Committee launched the competition on the occasion of Bahrain’s celebrations of the twentieth anniversary of the founding of the Council.

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women, Sheikha Dina bint Rashid Al Khalifa, congratulated the winners and praised the creative work of all the participants and their outstanding efforts that contributed to highlighting the outstanding achievements of Bahraini women during the past two decades.

In her speech at the virtual ceremony, Sheikha Dina emphasized the council’s keenness to communicate with all Bahraini youth and inform them of the council’s message and activities as a national institution working within the framework of the national plan for the advancement of Bahraini women. Highlighting the need to apply the principle of equal opportunities and gender balance as a basis for activating and investing all human energies in Bahrain.

The winners are Hala Ahmed Al-Musaifer in graphic design, Nawaf Muhammad Al-Mulla in computer drawing, Nour Mohsen Shamloh in jewelry design, Sayed Sajjad Al-Wadaei in the art of hand embroidery, and Sabeeka Muhammad Al-Shehhi and Yaqoub Abdul Rahman Al-Qattan in art. And the category of recitation, Dina Muhammad Salami in hand embroidery, visions of Hussein Hassan in the press, Sayed Ali Al-Muhafaza in prose, and Hamad Ali Al-Shamlan in languages.
