Algeria, Jan. 29 (BNA): Member of the Shura Council and head of the parliamentary delegation to the 17th session of the Conference of the Federation of Councils of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Ali Ahmed Al-Haddad, affirmed that the deep-rooted Bahraini-Emirati relations are based on solid fraternal foundations, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State.
Dr. Al-Haddad was speaking during the joint meeting held between the delegations of Bahrain and the UAE at the session hosted by Algeria on January 26-30.
He praised the efforts made by the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates to enhance the joint Gulf and Arab parliamentary work, through active participation in all meetings and submitting constructive proposals to enhance legislative work at the Gulf and Arab levels.
The two delegations stressed the need to strengthen the Gulf parliamentary work in various regional and international forums in order to achieve the interests of the peoples of the Council.
