London, March 3 (BNA): The Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom, Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, held a luncheon in honor of the Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs. Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak, who is currently on an official visit to Britain, in the presence of the Ambassador of Arab countries to the United Kingdom.
Sheikh Fawaz welcomed the Yemeni minister, highlighting the interest of the Council of Arab Ambassadors in the League of Arab States in London in strengthening cooperation between Arab countries and the United Kingdom, and following up on all Arab issues in the British political scene.
The meeting focused on the latest developments in Yemen and the future vision for a political settlement there.
The Yemeni minister referred to the Iranian interference in his country’s internal affairs, and the Houthis’ continuous violations, calling on the international community to put pressure on them.
Sheikh Fawaz affirmed the support of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Council of Arab Ambassadors for all Yemeni and Arab issues, expressing his hope that the minister’s meetings would reflect positively on Yemeni-British relations.
