Bahraini ambassador presents credentials to Syrian President

Damascus, June 19 (BNA) President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Bashar al-Assad, received the credentials of Ambassador Waheed Mubarak Sayyar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Damascus. This came at the People’s Palace, in the presence of the Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Miqdad, and Minister of Presidential Affairs Mansour Azzam.

The ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and their wishes for the Syrian Arab Republic and its people continued progress and prosperity.

For his part, the Syrian president asked the ambassador to convey his greetings to His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and his wishes for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its brotherly people further growth and prosperity. He also wished the ambassador success in performing his diplomatic duties.
