Bahrain wins two medals at 22nd Arab Men’s Bodybuilding Championship

Alexandria, July 31 (BNA) Bahrain won two medals in the 22nd Arab Bodybuilding Championship, the 13th edition of youth bodybuilding, and the second in physical fitness and classic fitness, which was held here on July 28 and 31, with the participation of 15 Arab countries.

Khaled Jassim won the gold medal and the global professional card in the 70 kg category, while Ali Ibrahim won the bronze medal in the Physique competition.

Ali Saqr Al-Banali was not far from the podium either, scoring his name in the top six qualifiers in the 90kg category, having finished fifth in the competition.

On the sidelines of the tournament, the President of the Bahrain Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation Sami Al-Haddad held a meeting with the Vice-President of the Saudi Federation for Bodybuilding Qassem Al-Laith, where they discussed with him ways to enhance cooperation between the two federations. .

Al-Laith praised the honorable achievements of the Bahraini bodybuilding team, highlighting Bahrain’s excellence in this sport thanks to the continuous support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The national team is expected to return to Bahrain on Tuesday, where it will resume its preparations for the Asian Championship, which will be hosted by the Kyrgyz city of Bishkek on 2 and 5 September.
