Manama, October 12 (BNA) The First Deputy Chairman of the Shura Board of Directors Jamal Muhammad Fakhro received Chargé d’Affairs of the American Embassy Margaret Nardi and the Economic and Commercial Officer at the American Embassy Emma Toxbury.
Fakhro praised the steady development of Bahraini-US relations in many fields thanks to the support and interest of the leaderships of the two countries.
He stressed the Kingdom’s keenness to strengthen relations and deepen cooperation and coordination, especially in the legislative field.
He pointed out that the legislative procedure was inspired by the speech of His Majesty the King at the opening of the fourth session of the fifth legislative term, which constitutes a road map for the upcoming priorities and the steps required to sustain development and development processes in Bahrain.
The meeting dealt with financial and economic issues, women and the challenges facing the environment.
Fakhro stressed that the legislative authority will consult with the executive authority to develop legislation that enhances the national economy, contributes to achieving financial balance and leads to more financial stability and economic recovery.
