Manama on April 5 (US): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received today, the President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, His Excellency Samir Abdullah Nass, and members of the Board of Directors at Riffa Palace.
His Highness praised the contribution of the private sector to the development process in the Kingdom, stressing that the economic sectors must contribute to the national economy and present an economic recovery plan under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister shed light on the positive economic indicators of the Kingdom, which is a promising sign for the Kingdom’s success in the future.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad noted the role of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry in representing the industrial and commercial sectors in the Kingdom.
His Highness stressed the importance of developing the Kingdom’s partnerships between the public and private sectors and enhancing the role of the private sector as an engine of the economy.
His Highness the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, congratulated the Chairman and members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors on their success in the recent elections, and exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the importance of creating investment opportunities and developing legislation that facilitates commercial operations and services. His Highness added that communication channels are always open to the private sector to discuss economic development in the Kingdom.
