On November 9, 2021, the two countries signed a number of executive programs and memorandums of understanding, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
On October 23, 2022, the tenth session of the Bahraini-Emirati Joint Higher Committee convened in the Kingdom and agreed to implement the results of previous meetings.
Military and security cooperation is one of the main pillars of the existing partnership and integration relations between the two countries, in line with their keenness to defend their security and stability, as well as to confront any threats to the security of the region, foremost of which is the fight against terrorism. The Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat), keen on strengthening Bahraini-Emirati relations, in cooperation with the UAE National Foundation, has launched a book entitled: Strategic Partnership between Bahrain and the Emirates… Legacy from the Past… Future Challenges… Future Opportunities.
The book, which was launched at Expo 2020 Dubai, documents the deep-rooted bilateral relations, which will inspire future generations to further strengthen bilateral ties.
