Bahrain Polytechnic organises conference

Manama, July 30 (BNA) under the patronage of the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bahrain Polytechnic, the college is organizing a three-day conference, from October 18 to 20, under the theme “Creative Solutions through Research Results during the Pandemic Period”.

The Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture explained that the conference aims to discuss new educational practices imposed by the global spread of the Corona virus (Covid-19) in various fields, including: engineering, technology, business administration, logistics and higher education, and its impact on various aspects of life. daily during the post-pandemic period.

He added that the conference targets students, academic researchers, educational and legal experts in the field of research. Researchers wishing to participate are invited to submit abstracts of their research papers via email to [email protected] until August 20.

For his part, the CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic, Prof. Dr. Kieran Kathin, affirmed that Bahrain Polytechnic seeks to enhance effective and positive participation with stakeholders at the national, regional and global levels, to enhance its contribution to social and economic development in the post-war era. epidemiological world. He pointed out that the conference will allow the Foundation to communicate with its partners by bringing experts together to exchange innovative research ideas across various disciplines that will benefit everyone, as the world slowly moves to the post-pandemic stage.

For her part, Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Reem Ahmed Al-Buainain, said, “If there is any positive aspect brought about by the epidemic, it is that humanity has fulfilled the need to find a solution to the health epidemic through research.” He added that the focus of the research was not only on health care, but moved beyond the pandemic into a greater interest in exploring alternative ways to deliver education, governance and disaster response in terms of economics, social behaviour, social ethics, justice and more.
