New York, May 31 (BNA): Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations, Ambassador Jamal Faris Al-Ruwaie, met with Philippe Lazzarini, UN Under-Secretary-General and UN Commissioner-General. United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
The meeting discussed ways to develop cooperation between Bahrain and the UNRWA.
The two sides also reviewed the activities and operations carried out by the UNRWA and its humanitarian role.
The ambassador affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to cooperate with the United Nations and all its organs.
