Brussels, June 7 (BNA): A delegation from the Shura Council participated in the opening session of the 2023 Women Political Leaders Summit (WPL) organized by the European Parliament and the Belgian Federal Parliament in Belgium on June 7 and 8. Subject (representation issues).
The Summit will focus on the political and parliamentary contributions of women to peace, security and development; Empowerment and gender balance and the challenges facing them in the field of political and parliamentary work.
Female parliamentarians, politicians, specialists and experts from different countries of the world will participate in the summit.
The Bahraini delegation includes Dr. Fatima Abdul-Jabbar Al-Kooheji, Chair of the Woman and Child Committee in the Shura Council, Dr. Ibtisam Muhammad Salih Al-Dalal, member of the Shura Council and Ambassador of the Women’s Solidarity Organization for Learning, and Lina Habib Qasim, member of the Shura Council.
