Alba’s decarbonisation drives highlighted at 26th Arab-German Business Forum

He added, “A sustainable and decarbonized world is one of intersections – between environment and societies, technology and innovation, collaboration and action. As we face similar challenges around the world, I take the opportunity to call for action so that we advance together towards our national goals in order to strike the right balance.” between our economic gains and social returns.”

Alba highlighted the many ongoing initiatives launched by Alba to reduce carbon emissions and support the Kingdom’s goals of “Net Zero Emissions by 2060” led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Chairman of the Board in his speech – including the Block 4 Power Plant project and solar energy projects that will reduce greenhouse gas intensity levels in Alba in addition to the company’s commitment to plant 6,000 trees annually and support the restoration of mangrove forests in Bahrain. .
