Cairo, November 29 (BNA) The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States Hisham bin Muhammad Al-Jowder participated today in an event organized by the Arab League on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
This day was set by the United Nations in 1977 to remind people of the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people in accordance with international legitimacy.
The event was held in the presence of ambassadors of Arab and foreign countries and representatives of international organizations present in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The ceremony included a speech by the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and a message from the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres.
