Manama, September 15 (BNA) The Bahrain Olympic Committee and the Federation through Sports signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation.
The memorandum of understanding was signed during a meeting between His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee Stephen Fox, President of the Federation through Sports. Vice President of GAISF and Secretary General of the International Muay Thai Federation.
United Through Sports is a non-profit organization based in Nelson Mandela Bay in South Africa.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid praised Fox’s exceptional efforts to develop Muay Thai and explored with him ways to enhance cooperation and coordination to develop the sport.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid stressed the importance of exchanging experiences and success stories.
Fox praised the development of sports in Bahrain, saying that it reflects His Highness Sheikh Khalid’s tireless efforts and initiatives, which were crucial in taking combat sports to a higher level in Bahrain and achieving many accomplishments.
