Bahrain, KSA sign executive programme to boost cooperation in serving Islamic issues

Manama, Dec. 8 (BNA): Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Nawaf bin Muhammad Al-Maawda, received today the Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh. He is paying an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He and his accompanying delegation welcomed him, appreciating the strong and deep-rooted fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia thanks to the patronage and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the King. Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

During the meeting, an executive program for the memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries was signed to enhance cooperation in Islamic affairs, including serving the Holy Quran, exchanging experiences, research and studies, and organizing conferences and seminars.

The two sides affirmed their constant keenness to enhance joint cooperation to serve Islam and promote moderation, tolerance and coexistence.
