Bahrain Islamic Index closes 1,863.42 points higher

Manama, Nov. 16 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,863.42 points, recording a decrease of 2.39 points from the previous close.

This decline is attributed to the decline in the financial sector, the materials sector, and the real estate sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 664.70 points, an increase of 4.85 points from the previous close.

The results indicated that 65 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 2,702,738, with a value of 461,445 Bahraini Dinars.

Investors trade mainly in the financial sector, accounting for 56.99% of the total value of securities traded.
