Bahrain Islamic Index gains 11.98 points

Manama, November 17 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 1,786.86 points, down by 0.60 points from the previous close.

This decline is attributed to the decline in the consumer goods sector, the industrial sector, and the consumer goods sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 746.41 points, recording an increase of 11.98 points above the previous closing.

The results indicated that 149 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 8,491,914, with a value of 1,185,325 Bahraini Dinars.

Investors trade mainly in the financial sector, representing 86.70% of the total value of traded securities.
