Dubai, November 17 (BNA) The President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Sheikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, participated in the launch of the Global Alliance for Tolerance at the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2020 in conjunction with the International Day for Tolerance. .
“On the International Day for Tolerance, we affirm our common values and cultural differences that enrich our civilizations and human achievements, and we are pleased to attend the launch of the Global Alliance for Tolerance,” BACA President said.
She added, “Bahrain is working with various countries to promote global peace and coexistence, embodying the vision of the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in supporting all international projects aimed at achieving global peace and security.”
This initiative comes within the activities organized by the UAE Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence as part of the National Festival for Tolerance at Expo 2020 Dubai, in conjunction with the Week of Tolerance and Inclusion.
