Manama, August 16 (BNA) The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1,898.94 points, recording a decrease of 3.12 points from the previous close.
This decrease is attributed to the decrease in the materials sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 670.78 points, recording an increase of 1.71 points over the previous closing.
The results indicated that 56 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 965,379, with a value of 374,629 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector with 62.07% of the total value of traded securities.
