Bahrain International Airport recognised for commitment to safety with RoSPA award

Manama, November 6 (BNA) Bahrain International Airport has won the Bronze Award from the Royal Society for Accident Prevention (RoSPA) for the year 2021, the Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) announced.

The world-renowned RoSPA Health and Safety Awards are given to organizations that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to raising health and safety management standards.

Bahrain Airport Company CEO, Mohammed Yousef Al-Binfalah, said: “This award reflects our commitment to safety and the hard work that our team members put in every day to monitor and adhere to best health and safety practices in the industry.

I would like to thank all of our employees for their dedication, especially the Health, Safety and Environment team. Passenger and employee safety is a top priority at Bahrain International Airport, and we strive to maintain the highest standards. We will continue to participate in the RoSPA Awards and work on initiatives with our airport partners to promote a strong HSE framework. “

The RoSPA Awards program is the longest running of its kind in the UK, but receives entries from institutions around the world, making it one of the most coveted health and safety achievement awards worldwide.

RoSPA Bronze Award winners have demonstrated that the essential elements of health and safety management systems are in place and work towards a robust health and safety system.
