Manama, June 29 (BNA) The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted a security official in the city of southern Yemen.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences to the government and people of Yemen and to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
He urged concerted international efforts to combat extremist terrorist organizations and dry up their financial and intellectual resources.
He stressed Bahrain’s support for the efforts made to reach a comprehensive and sustainable political solution to the Yemeni crisis, in accordance with the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism, the outcomes of the national dialogue and Security Council Resolution No. 2216, and what contributes to that. Preserving the security, stability, unity and territorial integrity of the Republic of Yemen, and achieving the aspirations of its brotherly people for peace, development and prosperity.
