Manama, June 29 (BNA) The Supreme Council for Women held a webinar with the Bahrain Nursing Society, in which they discussed cooperation to enhance technical and vocational learning opportunities for girls.
Member of the Supreme Council for Women Dr. Suzan Abbas, President of the Bahrain Nursing Society Jamila Jassim Mukhayirman and other board members attended the session during which the two sides discussed ways to enhance women’s participation in the field of nursing and other promising specializations and to develop postgraduate studies.
The session highlighted the efforts made to enhance the professional competence of nurses, increase health awareness and encourage healthy lifestyles to avoid diseases.
I also commend the critical role and dedicated efforts of nursing workers on the front lines in the fight against COVID-19.
