Bahrain Bourse ends trading at 1,934.63 points

Manama, May 10 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,934.63 points, an increase of 11.45 points from the previous close.

This increase is attributed to the rise in the telecommunications services sector, the financial sector, the materials sector, and the real estate sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 698.24 points, up by 9.52 points from the previous close.

The results indicated that 156 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 6,894,888, with a value of 2,228,532 Bahraini Dinars.

The results also indicated that a single bond transaction of 3,000 volumes was conducted, with a value of 3,000 Bahraini Dinars, representing 0.13% of the total value of traded securities.

Investors trade mainly in the materials sector, accounting for 44.94% of the total value of securities traded.
