Manama, August 10 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 1,881.31 points, recording a decrease of 18.77 points from the previous close.
This decrease is attributed to the decline in the telecom services sector and the financial sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 669.15 points, recording an increase of 3.89 points over the previous close.
The results indicated that 92 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 3,756,034, with a value of 1,664,933 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector where they represent 66.85% of the total value of traded securities.
