Manama, August 10 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with Sheikh Khalid bin Ali, Vice President of the Supreme Judicial Council and President of the Court of Cassation. Al Khalifa in the Riffa Palace.
His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the role of the judiciary in the Kingdom in further strengthening justice as a fundamental pillar for safeguarding rights and achieving comprehensive development for the Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad pointed to the importance of continuing to advance the judiciary in the Kingdom by adopting wide-ranging initiatives that improve the efficiency of procedures in line with the Kingdom’s development goals.
His Highness congratulated His Excellency Sheikh Khaled on his appointment as Vice President of the Supreme Judicial Council and President of the Court of Cassation, wishing him success in his duties.
His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister noted the important role of the Supreme Judicial Council in strengthening the rule of law and protecting rights and freedoms, which are essential obligations to support the integrity of the judiciary.
His Highness praised the constructive cooperation between the executive, legislative and judicial authorities, pointing to the importance of building on its continuous successes, which constitute the cornerstone of the Kingdom’s progress and development in line with the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
