Manama, May 23 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,961.33 points, an increase of 11.62 points from the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the rise in the telecommunications services sector, the financial sector, and the materials sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 721.78 points, recording an increase of 5.03 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 71 share transactions were executed with a volume of 3,055,674 at a value of BD 1,317,130.
Investors trade mainly in the materials sector, accounting for 51.63% of the total value of securities traded.
Rial
