Bahrain Bayan School’s Executive Chairperson briefed about Bahrainouna initiatives

Manama, April 9 (BNA): The Executive Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Bayan School, Dr. Mai bint Sulaiman Al-Otaibi, received the General Supervisor of the Executive Office of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Homeland. And consolidating the values ​​of nationalism (Bahraini), Brigadier General Muhammad Bin Dinah.

Some members of the school administration, faculty members and officers of the Ministry of Interior also attended.

The meeting came within the framework of the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to enhance community partnership, national values ​​and loyalty. It reviewed the basic principles and specific initiatives of the Bahrain plan, based on the directives of the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Follow-up Committee.

The meeting confirmed that the plan entered a new era of digital transformation this year. It also focused on the initiatives of the Ministry of Education, including the development of school curricula and the project of schools promoting citizenship and human rights.

The CEO of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Bayan School and the accompanying delegation were briefed on the goals and curricula of the “Together” program and the mechanisms of its implementation by the community police in all schools in Bahrain. As a result, the program succeeded within a few years in reducing harmful practices and behaviors by enhancing the awareness of school students.

During the meeting, the two sides agreed to enhance cooperation and coordination, and to hold awareness lectures for students of different age groups to spread awareness and develop the educational environment.
