Bahrain All Share Index, Islamic Index end trading higher

Manama, September 1 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 1,922.69 points, recording an increase of 4.69 points over the previous close.


This increase is attributed to the rise in the financial and materials sector.


The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 683.27 points, an increase of 0.73 points from the previous closing.


The results indicated that 52 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 2,109,856, with a value of BD 580,634.


Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 76.40% of the total value of traded securities.
