Riyadh, September 1 (BNA) The Saudi Film Authority is participating in the 79th annual Venice Film Festival, which takes place between August 31 and September 10.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the annual festival, which attracts a large turnout of the public, includes a variety of activities including film screenings and discussion sessions.
By participating in this global gathering, the Film Authority aims to consolidate its presence in international forums, intensify its relations with filmmakers in the world through dialogue sessions and bilateral meetings, and enhance the incentives program implemented by the Authority to attract and encourage international films. Film productions in the Kingdom, where the authority will present workshops at the festival to present the benefits of the program to international filmmakers and producers.
During its participation, the authority will shed light on the cinema industry in the Kingdom, successful experiences, and its support for Saudi talents by enhancing its presence on major film platforms and finding opportunities for development and growth for it through effective international partnerships.
