Bahrain All Share Index closes higher

Manama on January 15 (BNA); The Bahrain General Index closed at 1,892.04 points, recording an increase of 1.61 points from the previous close.

This increase is attributed to the rise in the materials sector and the real estate sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 656.57 points, down by 0.15 points from the previous close.

The results indicated that 39 share transactions were executed with a volume of 1,085,423, with a value of 416,283 Bahraini Dinars.

Investors trade mainly in the non-Bahraini companies sector with a percentage of 42.75% of the total value of traded securities.
