Manama, February 24 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1.943.78 points, recording a decrease of 20.54 points from the previous close.
This decline is attributed to the decline in the communications services sector, the financial sector and the materials sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 745.21 points, recording a decrease of 10.08 points from the previous closing.
The results indicated that 156 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 4,468,943 with a value of 1,404,163 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 49.22% of the total value of traded securities.
