Manama, February 24 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today ratified and issued Law No. (5) of 2022 amending some provisions of the articles of association and internal regulations of the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC). It was established by Decree-Law (18) of 1979.
The law stipulates that the phrase “Kingdom of Bahrain” shall replace the phrase “State of Bahrain”, wherever it appears in the articles of association and bylaws of the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (B.S.C.).
The Prime Minister and the ministers – each within his jurisdiction – shall implement the provisions of this law, and it shall come into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
